Yeah, there should be homework!

Homework? Really? Well, yeah there should be homework. I don't think that it really matters whether kids like it or not, it's important. I have three of many reasons why there should be homework. First, it teaches responsibility. Second, it doesn't take much time, and third, it teaches time management. Therefore, there should be homework definitely should be homework.

Homework teaches responsibility, a very important skill in life. Responsibility is something you need to learn, and you don't only need it in school. It shows that if kids aren't very responsible bad things like bad grades could happen. Accountability is one of the main factors that teaches maturity. Homework teaches you that lesson, and if that lesson is important homework is too.

Homework only takes two minutes of your life. Kids have hours worth of plans, but two minutes wouldn't hurt it. People always say they're busy after school, but it usually has to do with friends and kids could always cancel things like that. I think that school should come before friends. Homework only takes a little amount of time.
Time management, another important lesson, is another thing homework teaches. If kids always hang out with friends they will not have enough time to do homework, and if you learn time management it helps you make time for happiness. Time management is important.

There should be homework, because it teaches important lessons in your life. It teaches responsibility, it doesn't take much time, and it teaches time management. There are way more reasons why there should be homework, but these are just a few. Homework is important, and I think kids should have it.
